Portland Marina - Now Under Construction!
In June 2006, Dean & Reddyhoff were selected by the South West Regional Development Agency (SWRDA) to construct and operate the new 560 berth marina in Portland, Dorset, the venue for the sailing events of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Planning permission was granted late June 2007 and construction has now started. The new marina will be the largest single marina constructed in the UK since Dean & Reddyhoff's first marina Haslar, back in 1993. |

Portland Marina, due to open late 2008, will place a specific emphasis on the quality of its first class washroom facilities; something for which Dean and Reddyhoff has become synonymous. The site will also boast the most extensive facilities you would expect of any modern day marina including:
- Extensive washroom facilities.
- Restaurant and Bar
- 24 hour security with CCTV and electronic pontoon gates and car park barriers.
- Marine Retail Terrace, comprising of 13 business units.
- 7 Commercial Business Units including; marine engineers, boat repair and manufacture and rigging companies.
- Travel hoists - capable of lifting vessels up to 300 tonnes, self - powered boat mover with extensive storage ashore.
- Fuel berth with petrol, diesel and bio diesel.
- Sewage pump out facilities.
- Fully serviced berths for up to 40 metres with water, electricity, Wi-Fi, phone connection and satellite TV.
- Undercover dry stack storage system for power vessels up to 26ft in length.
